Hello, I'm thrilled you stopped by to learn more about me and my therapy practice. My name is Dr. Jean Stapp, and I am a licensed psychologist (license number: PSY 33583) with extensive training and experience in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and relationship issues. My ultimate goal is to help my clients take the steps they need to shape the kinds of lives that they desire.

About

Education and Training

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Duke University, where I discovered my passion for psychology and helping others. I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern California (USC), where I honed my skills and knowledge of various therapeutic techniques. I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at USC, as well as a clinical internship at UC San Diego, and a postdoctoral fellowship at UC Irvine.

Throughout my education and training, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life. I have had a lot of experience working with military service members and their families. I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that therapy can have on people's lives, and am honored to be a part of that process.

My Therapy Philosophy

As a therapist, I take a collaborative and integrative approach to therapy. I believe that each client is unique and requires an individualized treatment plan that addresses their specific needs and goals. I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies to create a tailored treatment plan for each client.

My passion for helping people extends beyond my therapy practice. I am actively involved in several nonprofit organizations that support mental health and eating disorder awareness. I believe in using my platform as a therapist to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.

If you think we would be a good fit, I would be honored to work with you and help you improve your life and relationships.
